Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Tube

1. If Pre-Cut and Prepped: Move on to Step 2.
2. If Cutting is Required:
   • Use a tube cutter to size the tube according to your needs.
   • Use a scraping tool to remove about 1/2 inch of the powder coating from the tube’s end. This ensures the tube can be fully seated into the fitting.

Step 2: Attach the Fitting

1. Align and Insert: Insert the tube into the fitting until it reaches the bottom, ensuring a proper and secure fit.
2. Secure the Connection:
   • Use two wrenches (preferably sized 11/16″ and 5/8″).
   • Hold the fitting steady with one wrench while turning the nut with the other.
   • Tighten the nut firmly to prevent leaks, but avoid overtightening to prevent damage.
